I unfriended three guys on facebook in the last 24 hours for mansplaining and sexist jokes. I’m ON A ROLL!
And then today, I told a group of people a story about how a guy had insulted my intelligence because I was a woman (that whole, “no, you have to learn it twice because you’re a woman” thing) and one guy piped up that I should just brush it off and refuse to be offended. *Sigh* Put yourself in my position first, young privileged man, and see how it feels.
I think I’m going to have to marathon some Golden Girls or something to make myself feel better now, geez.
I was on tf2 and some idiot was saying “come on ladies, you can do this”, all derogatory-like, and I was like “I resent that”, in my high-pitched lady voice, but then the idiot was like, “Oh look at that, even she is playing better than you guys.”
